AngelWoods Coffee Cake

   1-8oz. cream cheese, softened
   1 cup sugar
   1/2 cup butter

   2 eggs
   1/4 cup milk
   1/2 teas. vanilla extract or orange or almond

   1  3/4 cup all purpose flour
   1 teas. baking powder
   1/2 teas. baking soda
   1/4 teas. salt
   1/2 teas. cinnamon or apple pie spice
   1/2 cup raspberry preserves
   1/2-3/4 cup fresh berries

Spray (or grease and flour) a 9"x13" glass pan.  In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and sugar until smooth.  Add eggs, milk, and extract.  Mix dry ingredients and gradually add to mixture.  Put in 9"x13" pan spreading evenly.  Spoon raspberry preserves in 8 to 10 dollops on top of batter.  Swirl with a knife.  Bake 15-20 minutes in 350 degree oven.  Top with fresh blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries.  Bake another 15-20 minutes.  Cool slightly and top with sifted powered sugar.
